Hidden Insights: Astrology for the week of 26 August 2018

Hidden Insights forecasts a busy week, as an active sky gets the planet moving again.

The Full Moon in Pisces on Sunday, 26 August 2018 starts the week off with a wave of intuitive energy. Upon reaching its maximum light, the Moon will align with the fixed star Sadalmelek. The ancients wrote that when the Moon aligns with this star it promotes occult energy, as well as success in large companies. This is wonderful news for occult businesses as it is likely to increase sales. It will also be a good time to sell occult goods and services. For those of you who have no interest in starting this type of business, you may benefit from good deals if you are purchasing supplies.

After a long and exhausting few months, Mars finally stations direct this week, and energy, drive, and ambition return. As a result, feelings of exhaustion, lethargy, and laziness finally fade away. Of course, all of this intense energy could produce some dangerous side effects. It’s similar to a car that has been up on blocks spinning its wheels and not getting anywhere. Mars stationing direct is like that car hitting the ground and shooting off like a bolt of lightning. For many around the world, this will be too much energy to handle all at once. Don’t be surprised if people seem a bit more excitable or overly energetic right now. This could lead to some physical aggression, as pent up frustrations are due to be released.

The best way to handle this week is to embrace the mellow Pisces energy of the Moon, so that Mars’ energy can be utilized in productive way. It’s a great week to start new projects, initiate new alliances, or get out and about. If care is exercised, a very pleasant weekend will come as the Moon finishes the week off in the luxury of Taurus.

This can be literally, as in opening an online shop or sending out a manuscript. It can also be accomplished more subtly, such as in the form of a lit candle or declaration that symbolizes the official start of a project.

    1. This Scorpio just brewed a pot of peppermint tea… Curiously, this week has indeed been full of drama and folks pulling me to the side to tell me about this and that person. I dropped out of an extremely stressful week last week, and I’ve been fairly relaxed this week, I have to be honest, with a smile throughout. I’ve put my time into creativity, writing and reading, and journaling in my magick workbook. The one thing I’ve yet to do this week (surprisingly) is pull out Thoth for a personal reading; my tarotscope has become essential. This month was a month of action, for sure, and today’s horoscope here seems in line for me, at least.

      • Hi Christian, thanks for your comment. I always enjoy feedback. While a Sun Sign horoscope cannot possibly encompass the complexity of celestial movement that would be influencing your individual chart, I do hope that it provides a little insight. If you know your ascendant try reading that horoscope as well. Personally I find that it can often be a bit more accurate than your Sun sign. If you don’t know it, feel free to reach out and I’ll gladly let you know which sign you should read with Scorpio. Of course that goes for any reader who would like to reach out. Just send me your birth date, time of birth, and location of birth. These three pieces of information are essential to calculate the ascendant.
        Cheers!
        Eric
