Hidden Insights wishes a happy Ostara to our readers in the northern hemisphere, and a happy Mabon to our readers in the southern hemisphere!
Confidence and endless stamina rule the heavens this week as a number of productive aspects illuminate the sky. The week begins with a beautiful sextile between Mercury and Mars, which brings quick thinking, and courage. As Mercury is still in retrograde, this marks a period where people will feel they are able to be blunt with those around them. While this can be taken advantage of early in the week, it should be avoided in the second half.
Wednesday brings a trine between Mars and Pluto, which is paired with a sextile between Mercury and Saturn. Wednesday brings a big boost of energy and promises to be a very productive day, with seemingly endless energy for everyone. Expect conversations to be quick, to the point, with solemn undertones. Business rules the day, and it’s a fantastic time to buckle down and complete anything that has been put on hold. The challenge with this energy is the potential for physical exhaustion by doing too much. The world may feel as though it has unlimited access to energy, but it doesn’t mean that the Universe can deliver on those feelings.
An intense square between Venus and Mars on Thursday, 21 March brings tension to our most personal relationships. Individuals in committed relationships should guard against disagreements that may escalate beyond control. Temptations are strong, which makes it difficult not to give in to primal urges and personal desires. Venus and Jupiter make a sextile on the same day, which can soften some of the tension. However, these two planets can make one overly optimistic. Without the ability to stay focused, this optimistic energy can tempt us to initiate a conversation or express an opinion that can lead us into the trap of Venus and Mars squaring one another.
This week’s assignment focuses on the energy of the equinox that is paired with Mars making a trine to Pluto. As always, the equinox energy is all about finding balance. For many, this can be difficult, especially for those who have been in a challenging rut. The powerful energy of Mars and Pluto can be harnessed to light the metaphorical fire under us. It may be just want is needed to shift the scales back into alignment.
On the day of the equinox, take a red candle, and carve an action into it that represents what you need help initiating or ceasing. You can also carve the astrological glyphs of Mars and Pluto to attract their favour. If your request is long, feel free to write it out on a piece of paper, and place the candle on top of it. However, be certain to carve an image or word in the candle that represents your intention. You can also give your candle and extra boost by burning myrrh, dragon’s blood, ginger, peppercorns, or coriander incense, which are favourites of Mars.
Aries (21 March — 20 April)
Your checking and savings accounts become the central focus of your world this week, Aries, as you budget and adjust spending. These urges to move and save money may feel as though it is going nowhere. Try to put these doubts out of your mind, as midweek brings good financial news. On Wednesday, Mercury moves retrograde into an aspect with Saturn in your 10th house. Here, serious conversations occur with a supervisor or employer concerning your pay. While you may be tempted to ask for a raise, it is best to wait for right now. Instead, show them how essential you are to the company, which puts you into a positive light for a promotion later. Avoid spending too much time with friends on Thursday, as tensions may make it difficult to enjoy your time together.
Taurus (21 April — 20 May)
Having a strong network of support is one of the greatest gifts for when the world seems too much to handle. Taurus, this week friends and social circles seem to rally around you. Sunday and Monday bring positive affirmations from a social contact. These words are exactly what you need in order to get through a difficult time. Travel on Wednesday is productive, and if you get the energy to leave home you can get a great deal accomplished. In fact, taking time to explore is exactly what you need right now. Invite a friend to go with you, even if it’s just for a walk. The weekend brings a shift in your attitude, and you will feel more optimistic about work you previously doubted. This is a great time to think about the next step in your career.
Gemini (21 May — 20 June)
There is some fear that the past comes back to haunt us, but this is not necessarily always true, Gemini. Often times, things return in order to finalize issues. This week you will have the opportunity to address negative first impressions you have made at work. A supervisor at work, who may have a negative view of your reputation, will change their mind. Monday and Tuesday are the best days to work towards improving your image. As Wednesday approaches, you may hear news from a close friend or partner about a change in their financial situation. This appears to come at the perfect time, as you are on the cusp of making more money. Together you will be able to join financial forces. Over the weekend, the past returns one more time, and may centre on a legal issue that was not fully resolved. Pay any outstanding debts or fines quickly.
Cancer (21 June — 20 July)
Joyful aspects expand your social circle this week, Cancer, and you are due to meet a new friend through a social circle or group. Early in the week a group activity allows you to connect in a new way with someone exciting. For many, this may even feel like you’ve reconnected with a long lost sibling. Wednesday will bring focus to your romantic life and a new outlook in an existing relationship makes you feel on top of the world. While it’s not usually a good idea to begin a new relationship during Mercury retrograde, it is a wonderful time to reconnect. You may even find a friend, or romantic partner from the past, coming back into your life. Over the weekend, you may encounter a financial hiccup with someone whom you share joint resources or debt. Do your best to avoid becoming overly emotional if someone points out excessive spending or a missed bill.
Leo (21 July — 20 August)
A boost of energy at work graces your productivity early in the week, Leo. You feel the urge to hit the ground running. However, those around you may not share your enthusiasm. This makes it difficult to hold onto an optimistic mindset. Avoid negative naysayers and you’ll be able to hold onto this energy all week. Tuesday and Wednesday are set to be your most productive days, and you may notice that there isn’t enough time in the day to accomplish everything. Even if you want to keep working, force yourself to unwind. There is a danger of burning yourself out by trying to work late into the night. Friday brings a surprise romantic encounter, and you are due for a date night. Indulge in one on one attention and put your to-do list away for weekend.

Virgo (21 August — 20 September)
Your most intimate relationships will be tested this week, Virgo, as opposing philosophical or moral beliefs place you at odds with others. These types of discussions will be harmless early in the week, and even stimulating. However, as the week progresses it would be best to turn your conversations to more mundane matters. Like the sign of Cancer, you too are due for a return of a past friend or romantic partner. Keep an eye out on Wednesday for a message, call or fated encounter with someone you have not seen in a long time. Over the weekend any tension or stress that may have been initiated midweek begins to fade away. Saturday brings the potential for a get together in your home, and you will have the opportunity to exercise your skills in hosting.
Libra (21 September — 20 October)
Health and wellness become the center of your focus right now, Libra, and early this week may bring the need to evaluate bodily fluids. This can range from realizing you need to drink more water, to the acquisition of a urinary tract infection. The confines of Sun sign horoscopes cannot give medical advice, but liquids and bodily fluids take center stage. Wednesday brings the need to reorganize your home environment. It’s as if you feel the uncontrollable urge to clean out closets, drawers, and even furniture. Now is not the best time to invest in furniture, however you may want to consider purchasing storage containers or organizers. De-cluttering areas of your home will give you the room to start a creative project you have been putting off.
Scorpio (21 October — 20 November)
Being blunt is a skill you are naturally gifted with, Scorpio. Though it may get you into trouble with friends and family this week. You’ve been holding back observations over the last several weeks and you finally feel inspired to speak up. This new confidence would best be saved for April, when you’ll be able to more peacefully express yourself. Disagreements are promised midweek, unless you are able to exercise self-restraint. A difficult conversation at home about money takes place on Thursday or Friday. Someone in your life is in need of financial assistance or support. Having a serious and honest conversation about what you are capable of doing and not doing will be your best ally right now. Again, even as these types of conversations surface, you need to do your best to exercise restraint.

Sagittarius (21 November — 20 December)
A busy week at home is promised, Sagitarrius, as you finally feel inspired to tackle a number of home projects and repairs you have been putting off. You can expect a series of guests to your home this week as well, so it might be a good idea to have a selection of beverages and snacks on hand. A necessary purchase for your home on Wednesday is frustrating. Don’t be surprised if you need to replace a couple light bulbs, broken dishes, batteries, or other unexpected items. For those of you who have furry, feathery, or scaly family members an unusual behaviour will catch your attention on Thursday. While it may not be necessary to run right out to see a veterinarian, keep an eye on them till the end of the month. Over the weekend, the desire to indulge in rich foods will quickly exaggerate your waist line. If you choose to eat a bit unhealthy, do your best to engage in physical activity to fight weight gain.
Capricorn (21 December —20 January)
Your hands are itching to be creative this week, Capricorn, as Mercury, Mars, and Pluto work together to give you inspiration. Last week you were dreaming big, and now you want to put those plans into action. Unfortunately, you will still need to be patient. This does not mean you cannot continue to make plans, or invest in small purchases so you are ready in May. On Wednesday, an overwhelming desire to escape the confines of responsibility surrounds you. Where you are typically practical and focused, you can’t seem to be productive right now. Use this energy to explore new interests, and lose yourself in finding new hobbies, vacation destinations, or skills you may want to learn. Friday and Saturday bring a second burst of restless energy. Capitalize on this by burning off extra energy by walking, hiking, or playing a competitive game with a friend or loved one.

Aquarius (21 January — 20 February)
The sign of the water bearer usually has their sights set on the horizon and the big picture. Aquarius, this week your focus turns inward to your immediate environment, family, and past. You are feeling nostalgic, and perhaps even homesick. This is a great opportunity for you to reach out to loved ones to check in, or even initiate genealogical research. Digging into you and your family’s past will uncover a number of exciting surprises. If possible, reach out to an older relative on Wednesday or Thursday, when they will be the most cooperative. These days also bring a surprise encounter with a teacher or mentor. You may be tempted to push back when they give you advice. Instead of jumping to conclusions, take 48 hours to think about the information you have been given before responding.
Pisces (21 February —20 March)
Mercury is in full force this week moving retrograde in your sign, Pisces. For many, this feels both uneasy and uncomfortable. It’s as though you are being pulled backwards. Expect to lose progress on a project or goal you have been working on. Try to remember that sometimes you have to take 1 step backwards before taking 2 steps forward. Midweek you will be required to give difficult news to a friend or coworker. Do your best to avoid skirting around the issue, and get right to the point. Lengthy explanations will not be received well right now. A second challenging conversation is due to take place on Thursday, which is likely to occur between you and a sibling. Expect to receive a frustrating response, but don’t take it to heart. Over the weekend you will be able to finally put aside family drama and focus on work. Allow yourself to escape in what you do for a living.
