Hidden Insights: Astrology for the week of 4 December 2016

“Keep it weird.”

If you live by any rule this week, I hope it might be that one.

Venus moves into Aquarius on Wednesday, 7 December 2016. The planet of love, beauty, art, and receptivity is moving into the element of air as it meets up with eccentric, rebellious Aquarius.

Aquarius doesn’t just encourage us to expect the unexpected, but to be the unexpected. Both Venus and Aquarius can be quite social. If you’d like to tap into their energy to break out of any routines that feeling way too same-old-same old, you might want to seek out new experiences with your closest friends, or reach out to some of your more fascinating acquaintances and see if you can form some new bonds.

Breaking out of routine by getting out and experiencing the world might be the way to go overall, whether that’s in building a new community base or skipping out of work early to catch up with an old pal.

Aquarius can be quite a cerebral sign that finds excitement in pushing beyond convention. With Venus hanging out here until 3 January 2017, it offers about a month of creative experimentation. Maybe you’ve been thinking of penning a wildly experimental poetic opus, or want to start making wardrobe choices that reflect your magical workings and lend power to your intentions.

Whatever new experience you’re waiting to have, this is the time to begin moving towards it.

Here’s a look at what’s coming up for your sign this week:
