Wiccaning

This is the Wiccan equivalent of a "christening". It is a light a joyous ceremony, with the understanding that the child will be free to follow his or her own path as an adult.

As Wicca reclaims its inheritance and relevance to the community, pagan ceremonies for birth, marriage, and death are being creativly developed by priestesses of an open style, who are available to preside. Alternatively, make up your own.
