I've been Experimenting with various ways of forging Magickal Links in the past few years, and a few of my special interests have been toward how to Efficiently Link with my friends over a distance (remote influence and/or communication).

For me, "Efficient Magickal Techniques" are techniques that are easily repeatable, not too obvious to those around me, relatively quick, and yield consistently effective Intended Results.

An example of this would be Isolating and Amplifying a preexisting behaviour and EmPowering it (e.g., thru NLP)--as the repeated natural Imprinting gives it a strong starting "energy reservoir".

When it comes to finding a good Magickal Link to a specific target, getting hair, blood, etc. is fine and dandy, but to always have these components around is impractical in the really-real world.

In this post, I'm thinking especially along the lines of a telepathic phone line, or a quasi-psychic-cell-phone-line with friends and family. Fuck Moto, NoKia, and the lot of them!!!

I have used a few different methods to Contact and/or send Intent to friends/family during Gnosis:

~A simple method, but one often overlooked, is merely focusing on that person's face.

The Face is that which we primarily focus on the most already, so it begins with a strong Imprint.

~~Ditto with the Name... IME, spelling counts.

I've only found Names to be Efficient when Linking with others that I've only known online (i.e., no face during interactions), but they seem to be the single most Powerful Link in a strictly online relationship, IME. Perhaps it is just the most Powerful Link to *that particular Self*.?!

~~~After finding out their Power Animal, making a Symbolic Representation of it, that seems to relate to the person.

E.g. my ex-girlfriend's name is Tina, and her Power Animal is Tortoise... so I made a picture with bubble letters T-I-N-A in the form of a Tortoise, and then made it personally relevant to my Connection/Relationship with her. I would then Focus on that "Sigil" when in Magickal Trance whenever I wished to Link/Connect to her when we were apart. The reasons could be for her to "Call Me!!!", or to send Healing Energy, or to practice long-distance Sex Magick, etc...

Previously, I had a stylized Whale's tail (post-breach) Sigil for an earlier girlfriend who had Whale Medicine.

~~~~My most recent idea was to draw a Sigil (a la Golden Dawn) over a touch-tone phone pad (instead of a planetary square or the Rose). I have long known that I can never consciously remember the digits of a particular phone number, yet I can think of someone and automatically dial them up.

But it never occurred to me until recently that I could Sigilize the finger's Route on the phone pad--thus not only having a more abstract version of something already pretty well Imprinted, but also to help me to remember phone numbers of new friends and lovers ;-)
