1. What is alt.vampire?

   A) A USENET news group for the discussion of vampires in literature, life, and the popular media. This includes Gothic and vampire-inspired topics, writings, and art. Other topics are acceptable, including interesting events, interesting significant others, and writings and artistic endeavors by participants of the newsgroup.

2. What is not acceptable?

   A) Advertisements, crossposted garbage, especially diatribes from pretend clergy, uninformed ranting from people who have no idea what's going on here (see FAQ), rudeness, very bad spelling, binaries, test posts, and forged names or headers.

3. Who can participate in alt.vampire?

   A) Anyone who can post to usenet, and is interested in the topics covered under Article 1, and won't indulge in the behavior covered under Article 2.

4. I believe I am a vampire, and I am looking for a person of the appropriate sex, with high blood pressure.

   A) Boy howdy, have you got a wrong number! Read article 1, and go take some DepoProvera.

5. What do we do about trolls?

   A) Ignore them, or cook them and eat them.

6. Are you poking fun at me?

   A) Probably.
